I have not had anything good to say about Awareness Stands and swore that I would not do another. Not only did I do another I did it a stone’s throw away from the last one that I did.

I have known of Dennis for years. We have never worked together but he is a bit of a chip off the old block. He is actually quite funny but I’m funnier. He is the Brad Pitt to my Denzel, only he is richer but I am prettier. He is 6 foot tall and some change – and I’m going to wisely leave it there.
He is not going to tell a penguin that thinks it’s a cat that it’s a cat. What he might do instead is say “OK then let’s see you climb that wall then” and pull up a chair, with some popcorn, and sit back and watch. I never knew he had prostrate cancer until he approached me after the PC talk I did at work. I thought he might not be ready to share his story when I tentatively asked him if he was interested. I was fascinated by DeeDee’s dad, Richard, from the last blog. I really wanted to learn more about his story. A couple of days later I asked her if she thought he would be up for an interview. She came back and said “Well that was easier that I thought it would be. He told me to give you his number.” I called him a couple of days later and we agreed to meet, two days later.Read More »
“So how are you?”
It’s question that I am asked quite often in passing conversation. I smile and always reply along the lines of,
“I’m alright you know” or “I’m good, the recovery is long but it’s going in the right direction”
When people see me in person they comment that I look really well and some have even remarked that I have lost weight (I like those people even more). What people are really asking is,
