For those of you that enjoyed telling me how funny Dennis is, I am sad to announce that this is the final part of his story.

I have known of Dennis for years. We have never worked together but he is a bit of a chip off the old block. He is actually quite funny but I’m funnier. He is the Brad Pitt to my Denzel, only he is richer but I am prettier. He is 6 foot tall and some change – and I’m going to wisely leave it there.
He is not going to tell a penguin that thinks it’s a cat that it’s a cat. What he might do instead is say “OK then let’s see you climb that wall then” and pull up a chair, with some popcorn, and sit back and watch. I never knew he had prostrate cancer until he approached me after the PC talk I did at work. I thought he might not be ready to share his story when I tentatively asked him if he was interested. The holy grail of prostate cancer has been revealed – how men can actually get it. This is huge and I was there when it was announced. It was quite an unforgettable evening, one I shall not forget in a hurry.
I was in church the other day, just minding my business as you do, and I saw someone that I knew. I am not using the term friend as other than church we do not socialise but we do always greet each other. He smiled and we shook hands and he said he had seen my testimony and it was very powerful. He asked me how I was doing. I smiled back and said I was fine, the recovery takes a long time but that I am fine.Read More »
The PCUK volunteers are a pleasant, patient and passionate lot. They have to be with some of the places they visit and the people that they talk to.
